Full Job Description

To provide effective reception, administrative and clerical support to ensure the smooth running of the reception and the Practice as a whole, enabling patients to receive a service that is efficient and sensitive to their needs and supporting the clinicians to deliver excellent patient care.

We are seeking hardworking, flexible and detail-orientated individuals to join our GP practice based at two sites in Luton.

As our patients' first point of contact with the practice, you will need to be confident in dealing with queries in person, online and over the phone, solving problems and adapting to the needs of patients and the practice.

This position combines both Medical Receptionist and Administrator duties and will require you to work independently and as part of a team.

You will be expected to work to a high standard to ensure that the GP surgery runs effectively and efficiently. Excellent timekeeping and a good standard of written and spoken English are a must.

In return, we will offer you a friendly, supportive work environment with excellent opportunities for personal and professional development. You will also be entitled to join the NHS pension scheme.

Experience in delivering a high standard of customer service is valued but full training for this role will be provided.

Our mission is to make a positive difference to people's lives by improving the quality of life for all we serve. Our values are: We Care, We Respect, We are Inclusive - so we are looking for people who live and breathe these qualities when supporting patients, service users and carers, and in their relationships with colleagues in the Trust and our partner organisations.
