We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Reception teacher to join our Ofsted-rated 'Outstanding' Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) provision. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a dynamic and supportive team committed to high-quality early education., As a Reception teacher at Millbrook, you will:
Create a stimulating and inclusive learning environment where children feel safe, valued, and motivated to learn.
Deliver high-quality learning experiences that support all areas of development.
Use a strong understanding of the EYFS framework to ensure outstanding progress for all children.
Plan and deliver an engaging and well-structured continuous provision that promotes independent learning, curiosity, and exploration.
Engage in high-quality interactions with children throughout the day, fostering their speech, language, and communication skills through meaningful conversations, questioning, and vocabulary development.
Build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues to foster a positive school community.
Contribute to our well-established, nurturing ethos and commitment to excellence in Early Years education.
A passionate and experienced Early Years practitioner with QTS.
A deep understanding of child development and the EYFS curriculum.
A strong knowledge of effective continuous provision and how to enhance learning through play.
A commitment to ensuring every child reaches their full potential.
A team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A positive mindset, sense of humour and a solution-focused approach to challenges.
A belief in a relational and trauma-informed approach to behaviour, with high levels of empathy and emotional intelligence.
