Full Job Description

To provide a courteous and effective front-of-house service, ensuring the area is presentable, promoting the highest possible standards in customer care and equal opportunities for the benefit of all students and visitors to the organisation. To operate the college switchboard, ensuring that all incoming calls are answered promptly and forwarded to the relevant department in a timely manner. To liaise with staff, students, and all other customers of the College in a professional manner. Utilising the telephone system, computer systems or dealing with individuals face to face as appropriate. Take an active role in Safeguarding and Health & Safety, reporting issues to the appropriate personnel.

Experience working in similar role. Good interpersonal and communication skills. To be competent using Microsoft packages Commitment to teamwork within the college community The ability to use your own initiative, and to work well within a team. The ability to remain calm when working in a busy environment.
