Full Job Description

Business development

  • Support with the execution of business development initiatives to help expand our regulatory compliance business.
  • Assist in the firms' go-to-market and opportunity conversion activities, including the creation of client proposals, thought leadership content and presence at industry events.
  • Collaborate with internal service lines to develop comprehensive, cross-functional solutions to the most important challenges faced by clients.
  • Client Advisory & Delivery
  • Provide advice and project support to client stakeholders on strategic risk and compliance matters.
  • Provide subject matter expertise on financial services regulations to help clients address their challenges, e.g., in relation to financial crime, consumer duty, conduct, senior managers regime, AI governance, operational resilience and digital assets.
  • Support with the design and implementation of regulatory compliance target operating models at our clients, across first and second lines of defence.
  • Evaluate clients' compliance frameworks in the context of broader regulatory, commercial, and financial objectives.
  • Support the innovation and definition of data and technology-driven solutions to enhance compliance programs, leveraging AI and analytics where applicable.
  • Supporting Leadership & Team Development
  • Assist in overseeing the successful delivery of client engagements.
  • Take responsibility for specific client deliverables, ensuring comprehensive, end-to-end ownership.

    An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Vice President (equivalent to Senior Manager) to join our Regulatory Compliance team (titled Investigations, Compliance & Privacy) in London, as part of our Risk Advisory practice. We are expanding our team, building on our impressive expertise and track record in providing premium consultancy services in regulatory compliance. We are looking for an intelligent, pragmatic, and results-oriented individual who can deliver high-impact projects in the field of financial services regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will have had experience of delivering regulatory support for clients in the financial services sector, such as payment firms, crypto firms, corporate banks and trade finance institutions.,
  • Relevant experience in the field of financial services regulatory compliance.
  • Experience in consulting, with a proven track record of successfully delivering projects relating to regulatory compliance.
  • Experience of also having worked within a regulated institution and/or a regulator is desirable.
  • Good understanding of financial services regulatory compliance, e.g. in the fields of financial crime, conduct, consumer duty, senior managers regime and governance arrangements, and risk management frameworks.
  • Understanding of how regulatory risks (and regulatory requirements) apply to different financial services businesses, such as payments, crypto, trade finance and corporate banking
  • General understanding of Artificial Intelligence, data analytics and technology solutions influencing the future of regulatory compliance
  • Experience in designing, reviewing and optimising compliance frameworks within regulated institutions.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with both, technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to innovate and deliver consistently with minimal oversight.
  • Education to an undergraduate degree level.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Additional languages will be an asset.
  • Willingness to work outside of normal business hours, and in particular as unique projects/needs arise.
  • Ability to work full time in an office and remote environment.
