The job is all about giving people encouragement, guidance and support so they can live as independently as possible and have the freedom to make their own choices. Even though personal care is an element of the position, this role is all about building one to one relationships with the person you will be supporting and enjoying spending time with each other. Physical tasks may include but are not limited to - wheelchair assistance, manual handling and various physical activities.
