Relief Painter

As part of this role, your key responsibilities will be to…

• Carry out internal and external decorating within agreed timescales and in accordance with Orwell's property service standards.
• Ensure that the working area is cleared of any debris/materials once the work has been completed.
• Be responsible for keeping chemical and paint storage facilities tidy, and locked. Assisting with maintaining stock levels and organising storage areas.
• Carry out all minor pre-painting repairs.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues throughout Orwell to ensure the delivery of the organisation's visions, values and objectives.
  
  NVQ Level 2 in Painting and Decorating or equivalent, is desirable
Due to the nature of this role, a full UK driving licence is required - Company vehicle available as form of transport for relief shifts., Please notice Orwell Housing Association does not provide visa sponsorship. You must be eligible to work in the UK to apply. You will be required to provide the relevant right to work documentation if successfully appointed to the role. This post is subject to an enhanced DBS check. All new arrivals to the UK must also provide a Statement of Good Conduct (SOGC).
