Full Job Description
We are looking for a Registered Nurse with a passion for respiratory Nursing . This role will be mainly covering the Interstitial lung disease service but will be working within the respiratory nurse team so may sometimes cross cover for other respiratory conditions. We welcome applications from those who currently hold a UK NMC registration. If you currently hold an overseas nursing qualification and require sponsorship we are not currently direct hiring Internationally Qualified Nurses. Please note that this role is a secondment opportunity. Before applying you must seek agreement and authorisation from your current line manager. Secondments can't be agreed without your current manager's approval. If you are unable to gain your managers approval you should refrain from applying unless you wish to take this role as a fixed term position.,
- Run a nurse led service for the case management of patients with Interstitial lung disease . Apply specialist practice knowledge and skills to improve the quality of patient care
- Co-ordinate and implement an overall strategy of evidence-based care for a caseload of patients
- Lead and co-ordinate the service alongside the lead consultant.
- Through effective leadership ensure the clinical multidisciplinary team deliver a safe, effective, responsive, caring and well-led service where compassion is embedded, and a positive patient experience is achieved.
- Provide strong professional clinical and managerial leadership and act as a professional role model.
- Works across organisational and professional boundaries.
- Provide specialist education for healthcare professionals.
