As a Retail Assistant, you'll provide an exceptional customer experience across our retail spaces. You will maintain a good knowledge of products, merchandising standards and the city's wider retail offer. You will also ensure public safety and the security of the retail stock, cash, collections and buildings too. We are currently recruiting for two retail assistants to work flexible across all SMT sites that have a retail offer. Successful candidates must be willing to work across a 7 day week and be flexible in their approach to working days.,

• Provide exceptional customer service to all visitors within retail spaces
• Engage with customers by proactively promoting sales and the upselling of products within the retail space
• Process deliveries, damages, and general retail administration
• Process cash and card transactions, including cashing up at the end of the day
• Ensure that the retail space is restocked daily, and that shop presentation is maintained throughout the retail space
• Take part in stocktakes throughout the year, including annual stocktake for year end
