Role Qualified Lawyer

The team are looking for an Associate or Senior Associate (c.3-6 PQE) with non-contentious construction and/or engineering experience, who is enthusiastic and keen to be part of and contribute towards the success of a growing practice. You will be a core member of the team and a key part of the next phase of growth with considerable opportunity to grow your standing with our clients and the wider industry. You will be involved in a variety of high-quality transactions across a range of sectors.

• 3-6 years of PQE or equivalent relevant expertise, gained from a recognised construction and/or engineering practice.
• Familiarity with the different procurement options for construction and engineering projects, and the full range of construction documentation (including experience of working with the industry standard forms of contract such as JCT, NEC and FIDIC, but not necessarily all of them).
• Strong technical skills and attention to detail.
• Delivers legal and commercial solutions and establishes collaborative working relationships with clients and colleagues to provide an outstanding client experience.
• Supports the team to manage the client experience, develops trusted relationships and interacts with clients confidently.
• Committed to business development to further grow their network and the practice spotting opportunities and sharing these with the team in order to help build the practice.
• Works efficiently and commercially and understands the importance of financial hygiene.
• A collaborative approach and the ability to work effectively in a team.

  The non-contentious construction and engineering team, which sits within RPC's full-service real estate group, was established in 2022 by Partner, Arash Rajai, and Senior Associate, Claire Wilmann. Arash and Claire joined from a Tier 1 rated construction and engineering practice. They brought with them market-leading experience, an entrepreneurial mindset, and ambitions for growth.
The team advise developers, financial institutions, landlords, tenants, purchasers, contractors and consultants from a range of different industries. They have won a number of competitive mandates, in both the commercial real estate and engineering sector. They are now looking to enhance the offering by growing the team.
