Full Job Description

The Rota Coordinator is an essential and integral part of our department focusing on supporting the clinical team to ensure safe and effective medical staffing. It is dynamic, challenging and at times fast -paced.
It is essential you are able to communicate at all levels confidently, build lasting relationships and have excellent attention to detail.
Cross site working will be necessary for this post., The post holder must ensure the provision of high-quality patient care by efficiently deploying junior
medical staff for the Surgical Division. This will involve close liaison with junior doctors, consultants and
management teams. It will be necessary to have a daily overview of the activities of all junior medical
staff within the division, anticipate problems and autonomously resolve situations expediently. The post
holder will additionally support the division on reduction of temporary spend where possible, through
implementation of effective temporary cover and adherence to control mechanisms., Happy to Talk Flexible Working - all requests for flexible and part time working will be considered.
