Full Job Description

We are looking for enthusiastic Band 5 & 6 Midwives, who hold a full UK NMC registration, to join our expanding team.

Due to our service expansion, we have positions available at Band 5 and 6's for midwives who wish to join us and help move our exciting services forward.

The successful individuals will work across all areas of maternity and be welcomed into our team. We will support the completion of a comprehensive preceptorship programme and extended scopes of practise where required.

Supernumerary support will be provided in each new area of rotation to enable learning, experience and integration to the team. We will support you in your role, and help you to develop your career aspirations.

The maternity services are committed to upholding and maintaining the highest standards of evidence based practice and working in partnership with women and their families. We are looking for highly motivated and enthusiastic midwives who have a keen interest in all aspects of maternity care., As a registered midwife, the post holder is responsible for the assessment, planning implementation and evaluation of care provided in Maternity services.

Working autonomously within guidelines and the sphere of professional practice they will be working towards completion or have completed a recognised preceptorship programme.

The role is rotational across all areas of the service including Community Midwifery, Antenatal/Postnatal wards, Labour Ward, Alongside Midwifery Led Unit and Antenatal Clinic/Day Unit/Triage placements.
