Full Job Description

We have weekly meetings and educational meetings across our four sites and you will be allocated a senior mentor to support you in your role., To provide personal medical services to the registered practice population and to ensure that targets are met in terms of activity and quality in line with the PMS / GMS / APMS or any other contract that may exist between Stratford Village Surgery (SVS), Church Road Health (CRH), Cumberland Medical Centre (CMC), E7 Health (E7H) and Newham (or other) CCG National Commissioning Board.

  • Experience of working in UK general practice
  • Experience in maintaining patients records at an acceptable standard for audit purposes
  • To understand the patients perspective in developing and delivering quality services
  • The ability to develop close working partnerships between individuals, teams, and organisations
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Support and contribute to the development of Practice clinical procedures and protocols
  • Good IT Skills - and in particular a commitment and willingness to engage with and pro-actively use EMIS Web : Tasks : Workflow : EPS2 : Choose & Book & other in house - bespoke GP practice management IT systems such as OneRoom & SuccessPathways.
  • Ability to support and mentor GP Registrars, Medical Students and other allied Health Professionals
  • Ability to effectively manage surgeries and accurately input patient data onto the clinical system in a timely manner
  • Take an active role and contribute to Practice meetings
  • Take pride in your work and enjoy your job, Essential
  • Fully registered with the GMC
  • General Practice (Vocational Training Scheme) trained
  • On a PCT Medical Performers List
  • Further qualifications relevant to general practice
  • MRCGP
  • Enhanced CRB Check & Current Certificate
