Salaried GP with a view to partnership

Wivenhoe surgery, a member practice of the Colte Partnership is looking to recruit a 6 session per week GP (with a view to partnership if of interest). We are happy to consider applicants with all levels of experience (newly qualified GP included). We have a registered list size of 9,100 patients of a mixed practice has a Good rating with CQC and good QOF surgery is located within modern premises with on site parking. Main duties of the job We are a friendly, welcoming and inclusive team with a focus on worklife balance and are fully engaged with other health providers ( physiotherapy, mental health, midwife etc) for delivery of services from within our have a supportive clinical team on site with permanent GPs, advanced practitioners (nurses and paramedics) and practice nurses along with a pharmacist and other clinicians provided by our PCN. The admin team are fully trained in correspondence management.

• Good understanding and experience of chronic disease management, and primary prevention and screening services;
• Ability to take responsibility for your own career development, learning and performance and are responsible for ensuring that all your mandatory training is in date;
• Awareness of and compliance with all relevant practice policies and guidelines, prescribing, confidentiality, data protection, health and safety;
• Commitment to life-long learning and audit to ensure evidence-based best practice;
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in a confidential manner.
Qualifications Essential
• Fully qualified GP with GMC registration
• Annual appraisal and revalidation (when appropriate)
