  • The Opportunity Office based, this role will be responsible for all sales, quotes and follow up support for the non-contracted customers for Abbott Cardiometabolic in the UK. The person in role will provide full coverage for specific segmented accounts and will divide time between existing customer retention and new business. As the first point of call for new leads the Inside salesperson will collate information on the size and potential of the opportunity and either provide standard costs quotes or pass on to the relevant Business Development Managers for follow up. They will ensure all new customers with list price settings have access to online training and education platforms. For existing segmented customers, the Inside Salesperson will ensure regular touchpoints are achieved and strive to improve the customer experience supporting complaints and Customer service queries, with the aim to retain all accounts and support organic growth. The inside salesperson may also, at specific times be brought in to support marketing campaigns with follow up customer phone calls.,
  • Achieve sales, revenue, and margin targets.
  • Respond promptly to new leads from various sources.
  • Engage with new customers to assess potential and segment accordingly.
  • Use sales cycles to secure product commitments and purchases.
  • Provide quotes for classified customers.
  • Maintain up-to-date CRM data and manage sales funnel opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Business Development Managers to identify high-potential customers.
  • Ensure customer training and access to resources.
  • Support marketing campaigns with follow-up calls.
  • Manage customer queries and ensure timely resolution.
  • Comply with business policies and procedures.
  • Report on activities, trends, and opportunities to management.

    Currently partaking in a degree in biological science or health-related field.
