Full Job Description

· Create and maintain strong long-term relationships with clients, prospective clients, lead groups and other sources to increase customer awareness and generate new, repeat and referral business.

· Identify and initiate new sales opportunities through a strategic analysis of existing client accounts

· Develop a thorough understanding of client and prospective client businesses and industries

· Negotiate and influence to build consensus about Trusted Payments products across all levels of a client's organization

· Create and present compelling value propositions that are aligned with client needs to sell new products and services

· Proactively advocate for Trusted Payment services, cross-selling additional services to existing clients

· Prospect and establish a pipeline of new opportunities while closing existing ones

· Develop new business, both with and without the use of Trusted Payment lead-generation platforms

· Collect data and leverage information provided by business development sources to anticipate client needs and determine product fit

· dynamic presentations and product demonstrations at various points in the sales cycle, ensuring thorough orientation to the product both before and after the sale

· Monitor, report upon, and manage transaction volume per account as needed

· Use Salesforce to manage and maintain accurate forecasts on an ongoing basis

· Collaborate internally with key Trusted Payment stakeholders to drive deals

· Participate and coordinate with integration and implementation teams

· Attend test account calls and meetings

· Leverage events, whitepapers, webinars, industry concerns/issues and other strategic items/initiatives to drive new sales and increase sales to existing clients

· Participate in the planning and marketing of Trusted Payments client events

· Attend tradeshows and other events as required

· Thrive in a fast-paced environment and adjust to rapidly changing priorities when needed

· Position requires business travel dependent upon both Client and Trusted Payment need - estimated at up to 25%

· Bachelor's degree strongly preferred

· 5-7 years of payment sales experience for account-to-account payment rails, be that selling data and/or software propositions.

· Payment domain expertise and knowledge about payment and fraud trends.

· Excellent prospecting, communication, presentation, and networking skills

· Must have experience cold calling (phone) and email/LinkedIn prospecting across corporate, fintech and bank sectors

· Incentive-driven sales "hunter"

· Record of accomplishment of successful solution sales within the payment space

· Experience initiating and building relationships with executive-level management

· Self-motivated and enterprising person with the ability to work independently

· Strong problem-solving skills and high-level needs-diagnosis skills

· Capability to influence others and get results

· Successful experience carrying a new business quota in a performance-based

The Trusted Payment Sales Specialist team is part of the LSEG Risk division which is the fastest growing segment within London Stock Exchange Group.

In this role you will sell bank verification products to prevent fraud in the region. Fraud continues to rise; authorised push payment fraud alone is expected to rise $331 billion by 2028. EU regulation in late 2025 will mean bank verification checks will be mandatory for Banks and PSP. It is likely this will extend to other industries and countries. LSEG Risk Intelligence recognise the market to be a double-digit growth market. The Trusted Payment Sales Specialist Sales Specialist will initiate and build relationships with potential and existing clients across corporate, fintech and bank sectors. The focus will be on strategically identifying and developing new business. This is done by penetrating new markets and targeting new prospects while also growing sales with existing clients.
