Full Job Description

Sandwell Council is looking for a Notice Processing and Appeals Officer to join our dynamic parking team and contribute to our mission of excellence and integrity

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Notice Processing and Appeals Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the processing of notices and handling appeals with efficiency and accuracy.

This role requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to upholding our standards. You would been offered mentorship and guidance from the team to excel at this role.

Essential:

Dealing with customers, clients and partners and dealing with sensitive and confidential information.

Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the notice processing and appeals function.

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Knowledge of Parking Enforcement, use of IT systems, Customer Service experience both written and verbal

Desired:

Experience in parking industry.

Experience in development and implementation of policies and procedures related to notice processing and appeals.

Have experience of using Technical IT systems, including parking systems-Chipside, DVLA

Ability to produce reports for cabinet reports, press, chief officers and FOI

Process and review notices for compliance with relevant regulations

Experience in notice processing, appeals, or a related administrative role.

Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations is an advantage., Disability Confident
