Full Job Description

Hours: 37 hours per week, term time only plus 10 occasional days This is a well-established and vitally important post, providing intensive support work for pupils and their families, who are experiencing difficulty, disadvantage or need.

  • Be independent, creative and self-motivated
  • Require good communication/liaison skills
  • Require some understanding of behavioural difficulties
  • Provide targeted intervention for both individuals and groups
  • Involve work within the primary and secondary education sector
  • An understanding of the many agencies available to support pupils would be an advantage but not a pre-requisite, as would a background in education. Why choose Kennet School?
