As a Scientific Editor and Proofreader, you will be instrumental in refining client deliverables, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and compliance. Your work will directly influence how breakthrough medicines are developed, launched, and marketed globally. About the Opportunity As a Scientific Editor and Proof Reader, you will collaborate closely with consultants and researchers, refining high-quality insights in various formats, including PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and our proprietary InflexionRx® platform. You will provide detailed feedback, ensure adherence to compliance guidelines, and help shape compelling, client-ready deliverables.,

  • Content Quality & Editing - Edit commercial and technical content, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and consistency across deliverables. Identify and address inconsistencies, errors, or potential compliance concerns.
  • Storytelling & Clarity - Support authors in structuring content to create compelling narratives with clear implications for the reader.
  • Formatting & Branding - Format documents in line with Prescient's corporate guidelines or adapt to client-specific styles.
  • Feedback & Guidance - Provide constructive, detailed feedback to authors to help refine their work and improve future outputs.
  • Project Support - Assist in managing project documentation, developing training materials, and contributing to QC process improvements.

    We are seeking a detail-oriented, organized, and proactive professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering excellence.
  • Essential Skills & Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in editing, proofreading, quality control, or a related role
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to provide clear, constructive feedback to improve content quality
  • Highly organized with excellent time management skills
  • Knowledge of the life sciences or consulting industry
  • Comfortable working in a collaborative, deadline-driven environment
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage routine interactions and communications with stakeholders
  • Preferred Experience:
  • Experience in a scientific, medical, or technical editing environment
  • Familiarity with business systems and workflow applications
  • Translation experience or proficiency in a foreign language
