Full Job Description
Support worker / Personal Assistant Required - Forest of Bowland area, near Clitheroe
A young female adult with autism and anxiety requires support to access the community, practice her (Christian) faith and participate in hobbies and activities. No personal care is involved, and there are no behavioural issues to manage.
Previous experience of working with adults with autism or anxiety would be beneficial. A patient, kind and understanding approach which helps to build a caring working relationship is essential. You MUST have a full, clean driving licence and access to a car which can be used for the role. An interest in animals, art and crafts would be ideal.
There are up to 11 hours per week during term time, and up to 20 hours a week in the school holidays available. During term time, the hours will usually include one weekday evening and one full day at the weekend. During school holidays, hours and days worked can be varied and flexible to suit mutual needs.
5.6 weeks annual leave entitlement
Workplace Pension Scheme
Rate of pay: £12 per hour
Must be willing to undertake an enhanced DBS check.
