Seasonal Ecologist

As a Seasonal Ecologist, you will work closely with our senior ecologists and design teams to assist with ecology and biodiversity surveys and assessments. This will include site surveys, data processing, and reporting. You will also have the opportunity to develop your client-facing skills and gain experience in the entire project lifecycle.,

• Assist our senior ecologists, design teams, and project managers in all ecology and biodiversity deliverables.
• Assist with habitat and species surveys.
• Communicate clearly and in a timely manner.
• Assist with report writing.
• Carry out desk studies, consultations, research, data management, and analysis.
• Assist with health and safety risk assessment.
• Help with the day-to-day efficient running of the team and take on wider responsibilities (e.g., booking equipment, work planning, team events, etc.).
• Participate proactively in team meetings.

We are looking for Seasonal Ecologists across our Norwich, Manchester, London, and Cambridge offices. We welcome applicants with either academic or vocational qualifications. Due to the nature of this role, you must hold a full UK driving licence and be available to start in April 2025. This is a fixed-term contract (6 months, predicted to be April until September 2025) but could lead to a permanent position.
