Full Job Description

King's College Hospital has an exciting opportunity to join their in-house Security Department. We are looking to recruit two highly motivated personnel who are looking to develop their skills and can proactively contribute in a sometimes very demanding environment. The Security Officer posts will work a 24/7 shift pattern which attracts a salary of£36565 - £40015 per annum inclusive of HCA's + 25% shift allowancedependent on experience and abilities., To work as part of the King's College Hospital security team providing a high profile, visible, uniformed presence to the general public and the hospital's patients & staff, thereby providing positive reassurance to all persons. Fulfilling all duties and performing to agreed standards in accordance with the Trust's Policies. To be primarily employed on the Denmark Hill campus working a twenty-four hour shift based pattern.

You should ideally have experience of working in a security role, with an understanding of CCTV, alarm systems etc. You must be physically fit with good communication skills, along with the personality and experience to relate to people in all situations. You will be expected to exercise control and restraint techniques, for which full training will be provided.
