We are looking for an enthusiastic Self Employed EAL (English as an Additional Language) Tutor with a love of education to encourage all students to make progress in this subject no matter their ability. Key responsibilities (Please see attached Schedule of Services for full requirements):

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging EAL tuition that meets the individual language needs of students learning English as an additional language.
• Assess students' current English language proficiency and create personalised learning plans to track progress.
• Support students in all aspects of language acquisition, including listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers to ensure EAL students are fully integrated into the school curriculum and activities.
• Provide additional support for students during class to help them understand and participate in lessons.
What we are looking for: Essential
• Qualified teacher status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification (TESOL, CELTA, or equivalent).
• Proven experience teaching EAL students in a school setting.
• Strong understanding of language acquisition processes.
