+ Proven Experience: Demonstrated experience as a SEN Teaching Assistant or similar role.
o Supporting Diverse Needs: Experience working with students with a range of special educational needs, such as autism spectrum disorders (ASD), attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), dyslexia, and other learning difficulties.
o Behavior Management: Proficient in implementing behavior management strategies to support positive behavior and engagement.
o Individualized Education Plans (IEPs): Experience in developing, implementing, and reviewing IEPs tailored to individual student needs.
o Therapeutic Approaches: Familiarity with therapeutic approaches such as speech and language therapy, occupational therapy, or emotional and social support.
o SEN Assessment Tools: Knowledge and use of SEN assessment tools and techniques to monitor and evaluate student progress., + Education: A minimum of a Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning, Childcare, or a related field.
+ Specialized Training: Additional qualifications or training specific to SEN, such as a Level 3 Award in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools (SEN), Level 4 Certificate for Higher Level Teaching Assistants, or other relevant SEN certifications.
+ Professional Development: Evidence of ongoing professional development in the field of SEN education.
