37.5 hours per week, term time, 8.30am - 4.00pm, (part-time hours considered)

We are seeking an enthusiastic SEN Teacher or SEND HLTA to join our Curriculum Support Team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be experienced in providing SEN provision and have a positive attitude and ability to inspire young people to reach their full potential. You will work closely with the Head of Curriculum Support and the wider Curriculum Support team to ensure the department runs efficiently. You will be expected to plan and teach lessons, working with small groups and individual pupils and to prepare teaching materials, take registers and write reports. The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for helping pupils develop their confidence and independence and encouraging them to learn. Experience in an SEN role within a secondary school environment and proficiency with assessment tools is required.
For teaching colleagues a willingness to contribute to the School's wide range of cocurricular activities is expected. Small teaching groups throughout the School are supported by the very latest technology and modern facilities including an extensive use of 1:1 digital learning.
