The Major Projects Team are seeking an enthusiastic and driven team player to join and enhance their busy department. This is an exciting opportunity to join the Major Projects Team, to provide support with all aspects of Architectural Design and Construction Management. We are working on a range of exciting projects which includes new schools, childcare facilities and other strategic projects for the wider authority. With a healthy pipeline of future work, the department will be fully committed to continuously delivering new assets for the authority.
You must be a team player who can demonstrate that you can work autonomously when required. You must possess excellent design, technical and presentation skills and, be able to lead a design team on small to medium sized projects. You must have a passion for design, be knowledgeable in relation to the CDM Regulations and Carbon Reduction with a focus on delivering new assets to Net Zero Carbon standards. The right candidate will have excellent Revit and Autocad skills as well as being competent in the use of the Microsoft Office 365 suite and NBS Chorus. Knowledge of JCT traditional type building contracts is essential.
We welcome applications from experienced Architectural Technicians / Technologists who possess the right skill set and attitude towards public sector design, aiming to improve the outcomes of people of all ages through good design.

A valid driving licence is requirement for this post.
