Full Job Description

In this role you will act be the agency's lead on social data and social analytics measurements, and AI insights. You will be at the forefront of harnessing artificial intelligence, automation, and data visualization tools to revolutionize how we measure fan engagement, sponsorship effectiveness, content impact, and ROMI (Return on Marketing Investment). This role will shape the future of measurement at Ear to the Ground, driving innovation in FanCore , proprietary media valuation, sponsorship assessment, and AI-driven dashboards.

Responsibilities

This role is a unique opportunity to define and lead ETTG's AI-powered measurement strategy, enabling us to set a new benchmark in the industry. You will be responsible for:

Owning the Social Analytics and Data & Measurement Agenda: Defining ETTG's future-facing approach to measurement and insights, ensuring we remain at the cutting edge of AI-enhanced marketing effectiveness.

Developing AI-Powered Dashboards & Analytics Tools: Designing automated, real-time dashboards that integrate first-party data, media valuation, and sponsorship performance to track and optimize impact.

Leading FanCore & Sponsorship Measurement Innovation: Evolving our proprietary FanCore framework to deliver deeper insights into brand perception, sponsorship effectiveness, and audience engagement.

Implementing AI for Real-Time Insights: Leveraging machine learning, predictive analytics, and natural language processing to generate faster, deeper, and more actionable insights for clients.

Measuring ROMI & Business Impact: Creating models that attribute marketing investment to real-world business outcomes, linking fan engagement metrics to brand growth, sales uplift, and customer acquisition.

Optimizing Talent & Content Performance: Measuring the impact of brand partnerships, athlete sponsorships, and influencer collaborations, including analysing social sentiment, audience engagement, and ROI.

Enhancing Proprietary Media Valuation Models: Evolving our approach to measuring earned, owned, and paid media value, ensuring that brand partners understand the full impact of their investment.

Client-Facing Leadership: Acting as a trusted advisor to clients, presenting insights, measurement frameworks, and AI-driven reports to demonstrate impact and optimization opportunities.

We're seeking a highly analytical, AI-literate, and insight-driven leader with a passion for sports, gaming, entertainment, and the future of fan engagement.

Essential Skills & Experience:

6+ years experience in social data analytics, marketing measurement, or AI-driven insights roles, ideally within a sporting, agency, media, or sponsorship environment.

Expertise in AI-powered analytics-experience with machine learning models, automation, and predictive analytics for marketing measurement.

Proven track record in marketing analytics and ROI measurement, including attribution modeling, econometrics, and media valuation.

Understanding of brand tracking methodologies and ability to measure cultural impact in sports, gaming, and entertainment.

Hands-on experience with social listening tools, natural language processing, and first-party data integration.

Strong storytelling and data communication skills-ability to turn complex AI-driven data into clear, actionable insights for brand partners.

Experience working with AI-driven content analysis, sentiment tracking, or automated campaign reporting tools.

A future-facing mindset-excited about how AI can be used to transform marketing measurement and sponsorship effectiveness.

Hours: Full time, with some flexibility required to meet needs of business. Hybrid working, in our Manchester office (minimum 3 office days per week)
