Senior Care Assistant - Nights Salary: A£14.80 per hour + Incentives Hours: Full Time - 3-4 x 7:00 pm to 7:00 am shifts per week (including some weekends) Location: Walkeringham

About the Role: Merco are proud to represent a renowned care home group in their search for a dedicated and experienced Senior Care Assistant to join their night team. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced Care Assistants who are looking to advance their careers and work within a highly regarded care home setting. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a care team, ensuring the delivery of Person-Centred Care, and providing support during the night shift in a residential/nursing home environment.

Essential Requirements:

Relevant professional qualification (e.g., Registered Nurse or NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent)
A minimum of two years' experience as a Care Assistant in a residential or nursing home setting
Strong understanding of Person-Centred Care Planning principles
Knowledge of the prevention of abuse of vulnerable adults, including the ability to recognize signs of abuse and follow the correct procedures for handling allegations
Must live within 30 minutes of the home to ensure prompt attendance
