Full Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Medical Exposures Group (MEG) to cover for maternity leave. MEG is a multi-disciplinary team who provide advice and support to a range of organisations including government, professional bodies, hospitals and clinics on medical exposures, regulatory and radiation protection issues, and safe clinical practice in the UK., The post offers the opportunity to provide support to nuclear medicine services across the UK. Working as a core member of the Administration of Radioactive Substances Advisory Committee (ARSAC) secretariat, you will provide specialist scientific advice and support relating to the Ionising Radiation (Medical Exposure) Regulations (IR(ME)R) licensing process in addition to organising and preparing technical papers and scientific reports required for meetings of this expert committee.
