Full Job Description

Balancing creative design leadership with hands-on execution, you'll work closely with CRM and Marketing teams to transform briefs into inspirational, customer-first designs that are both visually compelling and commercially effective. This role offers the opportunity to shape and elevate the visual standards for our CRM channels while supporting the wider creative team with innovative ideas and strategic thinking.,

  • Champion the brand's visual identity across CRM, email, loyalty, and app channels, ensuring consistency and excellence.
  • Lead the creation of mobile-first, responsive email designs that follow brand guidelines and render seamlessly across devices.
  • Collaborate with the CRM and Marketing teams to translate written briefs into inspirational, high-performing designs.
  • Introduce motion, animation, and gamification to enhance email designs, adding interactivity and engagement.
  • Oversee and refine seasonal updates to email templates, including transactional and loyalty emails, optimizing for open rates and click-through performance.
  • Team Collaboration & Mentorship:
  • Provide creative leadership and daily feedback to junior designers, ensuring consistent design quality.
  • Support the creative team by flexing into wider design projects as needed, contributing to cross-channel campaigns.
  • Strategic Thinking & Brand Development:
  • Develop and uphold high design standards, maintaining up-to-date email guidelines and best practices.
  • Ensure email and app designs are aligned with the customer journey, supporting seamless navigation to checkout.
  • Stay ahead of digital and design trends, sharing insights with the team to keep LOOKFANTASTIC at the forefront of innovation.

    Design Expertise: Proficient in Adobe CC (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) with strong attention to detail and typography.
  • CRM Design Experience: Previous experience designing for email, loyalty, and app channels, with a strong understanding of mobile-first principles.
  • Technical Knowledge: Awareness of HTML/CSS to enable collaboration with developers and troubleshoot design challenges.
  • Creativity & Brand Awareness: A passion for beauty and lifestyle brands, with a keen eye for trends and storytelling in the digital space.
  • Communication Skills: Confidence in presenting ideas and concepts to team members, stakeholders, and senior leadership.
  • Problem-Solving & Time Management: Strong organizational skills with the ability to balance multiple briefs and tight deadlines.
