Wiltshire Wildlife Trust is looking for a Senior Ecologist - Natural Capital to join our dynamic and pioneering team. This pivotal role will play a key part in developing our commercial offerings and expand on the opportunities presented by Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG), carbon and other emerging natural capital markets.

This is an exciting opportunity to build upon existing innovative projects such as the Bristol Avon Catchment Market, our farmer focussed Natural Environment Investment Readiness Fund (NEIRF), and a wide range of ecological services delivered on both our own- and third-party land. As a small but ambitious team, you'll have the chance to deliver significant landscape scale impact, by working with new and developing models and markets.

What you'll be doing:

Wiltshire Wildlife Trust is committed to driving forward nature's recovery on a landscape scale and we need a passionate and innovative Senior Ecologist - Natural Capital to drive forward the development of this work. You'll be working as part of a small but dynamic team involved with a wide range of projects, including the groundbreaking Bristol Avon Catchment Market, NEIRF, working to support farmers with private finance opportunities and delivery of a range of specialist ecological services.

You'll play a key role in the development and expansion of our commercial offerings, including specialist ecological services, as well as identifying opportunities to deliver impact through emerging natural capital markets (BNG, Carbon etc. - both regulatory and voluntary markets).
