Are you a skilled IT professional with a focus on enhancing user experience through technology?, The NCA is seeking a Senior End User Compute Engineer to support and optimise our end-user computing environments, ensuring our healthcare teams have seamless, secure, and efficient access to the tools they need.
In this role, you'll be responsible for the full lifecycle management of desktops, mobile devices, virtual workstations, and critical healthcare applications. Your work will involve configuring, deploying, and supporting end-user devices and systems en masse, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring adherence to NHS security and compliance standards.
You'll collaborate with digital teams and clinical staff to drive performance improvements, introduce automation, and implement best practices across end-user computing services. Your technical expertise in virtualisation, device management, and user support will ensure high availability and optimal performance, directly impacting patient care and team productivity.

Join the NCA and play a vital role in creating a robust, user-focused computing environment that supports our staff and enhances patient care., As a Senior EUC Engineer in the NCA, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and optimizing end-user computing environments essential for delivering healthcare services. Your responsibilities will revolve around providing technical support, troubleshooting, and ensuring the functionality and security of EUC systems across NCA facilities.
Your primary duty will be to assist in the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of end-user devices, including desktops, VDI, laptops, mobile devices, and associated software applications. Working closely with senior engineers and digital teams, you will contribute to ensuring the smooth operation of EUC systems, aligning with NHS standards and policies.
In addition to day-to-day support, you will assist in implementing security measures to protect sensitive data and mitigate cybersecurity risks within EUC environments. This includes enforcing access controls, managing antivirus solutions, and ensuring compliance with NHS security policies and regulations.
