We are seeking a full-time Senior Grants and Projects Officer to join the Finance Team at the Department of Engineering Science (Central Oxford). This is a permanent position
You will be a senior member of the Grants & Projects team which supports the post-award financial management of the department's research grants and trading contracts. You will have primary responsibility for a selected portfolio of research grants, supporting the relevant Principal Investigators and Project Managers to ensure that funds are securely managed. You will be expected to deal with issues and problems as they arise, liaising with a range of stakeholders and advising budget holders accordingly. You will also have responsibility overseeing the setting up of new projects, reconciling projects coming to an end, and preparing for grant audits.
You will also act as line-manager to a junior member of the Projects Team.
