Full Job Description

The post holder is responsible for the day to day supervision of service delivery and working processes within the Healthcare Records Department. The post holder will assist the Deputy Healthcare Records Manager in providing a high quality effective service to all service users., They will co-ordinate the day to day supervision of staff and support the Team Leaders to manage their respective workloads. They will ensure resources are managed appropriately to achieve the targets of the Department.
The post holder will provide knowledge and guidance to all staff and service users on requests to access healthcare records and ensure all requests are processed and completed within appropriate timescales. The post holder will provide training on the areas of their expertise.

Full Time - 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
An exciting opportunity has arisen for the role of Senior Healthcare Records Team Leader at the Royal Surrey County Hospital. We are seeking an energetic and confident person who will support the Deputy Healthcare Records Manager to provide a high quality and effective health records service.
The Healthcare Records Department manages over 600,000 records in an on-site library, across the hospital and in an external storage location. The role will include the management of staff and ensuring resources are prioritised to manage all the day to day activities of the service.
The successful candidate must have previous experience in leading or supervising people. Excellent communication skills are required to liaise with colleagues, clinicians, patients and visitors.
