Senior Higher Level Teaching Assistant

The role may involve planning and covering PPA for classes over all age ranges. This post is subject to a DBS check, suitable references and a medical questionnaire. In addition, as part of the shortlisting process we will carry out an online search as part of our due diligence on the shortlisted candidates. This search will be conducted by a senior member of the School Leadership Team, who will not be involved in the recruitment process. A consistent approach will be taken, and the results will be recorded. The search is to help identify any incidents or issues relevant to suitability to work with children, that have happened and are publicly available online, which we may want to explore with the applicant at interview stage.

  Salary : Grade 6, £22,856 - £25,332 per annum.
37 hours per week, term time working 38 weeks per year Temporary dependant on school budgets Required as soon as possible The Governors of St Thomas are looking to appoint a creative and enthusiastic HLTA to work full time. The successful candidate will have a range of duties including, delivering targeted intervention to support class teachers, covering classes while teachers are on PPA, Leadership Time or ECT time. The HLTA may be required to teach all curriculum subjects across the whole school, which is from reception to year 6.
