Senior IT Support Technician

In line with Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE) on line / social media checks may be undertaken for shortlisted applicants.

An enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) disclosure will be sought, along with other relevant pre-employment clearances, for the successful applicant.

We are looking to appoint a Senior IT Support Technician to work as part of team under the leadership of the IT / Network Manager, to provide a comprehensive technical service to all staff, students and visitors.

The successful candidate will have technical expertise, interpersonal skills and the ability to keep our college up-to-date with IT developments.

This is a hands-on role and candidates will be required to work flexibly on an operational level.

We are looking for candidates who :

Hold or working towards a professional qualification such as CCNA

Have experience of installing and configuring computer hardware and software

Have a good knowledge of computer systems / networks and a range of software applications
