Jo Malone London has an opportunity within the Global Communications department for a Senior Manager position, reporting to the Global Communications Director. This role is based at the Global Townhouse in Marylebone. This is a hybrid role, with the opportunity to work up to 2 days per week at home. The Global Communications Senior Manager will play a pivotal role in the creation of the global communications strategy, and events across regions, building brand awareness and positioning. This role requires a strategic thinker and a proactive team player who delivers work to an exceptionally high standard. The role will focus on increasing Earned Media Value (EMV), driving opportunities and word of mouth, working strategically with our markets and regions to maintain the brand's profile as a leading British fragrance and lifestyle house. The position will be responsible for: Global Communications

  • Lead the development and execution of the Global Communications strategy to support brand growth and reinforce positioning
  • Cascade Global Communications strategy to regions, ensuring alignment in messaging and EMV-driving initiatives
  • Provide strategic counsel to regional and market teams to ensure successful local execution of global communications strategies
  • Develop comprehensive GTM (Go-To-Market) decks and communication guidelines for Global Communications strategy
  • Maintain a deep understanding of global campaigns, product launches, and marketing timelines
  • Complete Activation Briefs, CRQs, and Copy Briefs for all global programs
  • Develop 360-degree communications campaigns that are aligned with overall brand strategy and values
  • Foster strong collaborative relationships with all global departments, ensuring seamless communication
  • Support the Global Communications budget, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in resource allocation
  • Work closely with the Global Communications Director to review regional PR reports to identify key successes, areas for improvement, learnings, and the overall impact of key campaigns
  • Leverage insights from global campaigns to recommend new measurement tools, KPIs, and strategies to drive performance-based results.
  • Events
  • Manage the execution of high-impact global events, including press, influencer, and brand activations that elevate the brand's profile
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create and deliver seamless activations in global, regional, and local markets
  • Provide strategic support and guidance to regional teams in the planning and execution of local events and activations, ensuring they align with global objectives.
  • Influencer Marketing
  • Manage the Global Influencer / tastemaker strategy to maximize EMV to elevate key programmes
  • Support regions with the development of their paid influencer partnerships, content creation and strategies to ensure global consistency while maintaining local relevance
  • Oversee the cascade of local ambassador frameworks, providing regions with clear guidance on ambassador engagement for each campaign
  • Collaborate closely with the Global Communications Director to develop and execute high-impact ambassador strategies, ensuring seamless integration into broader campaigns
  • Serve as the primary contact for regions in creator identification, briefings, campaign implementation, and performance reporting
  • Lead the optimization of relevant platforms to drive EMV and utilize tools to deliver data insights, efficiencies and trends to evolve brand performance, drive growth and ROI
  • Brand ambassador and spokesperson development
  • Partner with internal communications teams to manage Jo Malone London's trade press story calendar, ensuring key spokespeople and brand ambassadors are strategically positioned in key markets
  • Manage the announcement, launch, and promotion strategy for brand ambassadors, aligning their activities with brand messaging and key campaigns
  • Accompany brand ambassadors on location shoots, press events, and market visits, ensuring seamless execution and brand representation
  • Manager the ambassador social media content calendar
  • Develop and nurture strong relationships with talent and creator agents, ensuring trust and long-term collaboration with brand ambassadors.

    Substantial PR/communications experience in agency and in-house at local level and ideally have Global experience (or experience of working closely with global teams)
  • Have an innate passion and strong understanding of the whole beauty (luxury, prestige and mass), home and lifestyle industry, current trends, and knowledge of pop culture
  • Be a multi- faceted communications professional that possesses a strategic and creative mind
  • A strong team player with a sharp eye for detail and a natural problem solver
