We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced individual to join the Asset Management team within the Transport division of LBG. The division plays a critical role in supporting customer/driver transition to more sustainable driving alternatives, ensuring we support the transition to Net Zero as consumers and business customers finance electric vehicles with us. The Asset Management team are responsible for the manufacturer relationships that support our customers, used leasing and optimising disposal routes of assets on return from customers. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing vehicle inventory or other assets, working with their team to identify areas of improvement for operation efficiency and ways to maximise asset value., We're thrilled to offer an experienced professional the chance to join our Asset Management team within LBG's Transport division. This division is instrumental in aiding customers and drivers as they shift towards more sustainable driving options, playing a pivotal role in advancing the transition to Net Zero by facilitating the financing of electric vehicles for both consumers and business clients. The Asset Management team are responsible for the manufacturer relationships that support our customers, used leasing and optimising disposal routes of assets on return from customers. You'll be responsible for overseeing vehicle inventory or other assets, working with their team to identify areas of improvement for operation efficiency and ways to maximise asset value.,

  • Manage the vehicle remarketing function including negotiations with suppliers to ensure we get optimum terms across LBG and achieve finance targets.
  • Manage remarketing suppliers to ensure contractual obligations are achieved.

  • Directly responsible for the management of the returning vehicle portfolio to maximise profitability and ensure timely disposal (or alternative route).
  • Responsible for the management of suppliers to ensure they are meeting agreed key performance indicators. This includes logistics, storage and refurbishment and general customer service.
  • Manage a portfolio of key suppliers via a team of Account Managers to ensure the delivery of a quality service.
  • Responsible for the regular, accurate, timely analysis and reporting on all aspects of the remarketing department.
  • Presents key themes to senior stakeholders from a wide range of sources and identifies possible impacts on the business.
  • Implement business plans to achieve results and act at pace.
  • Lead, motivate and develop a team of colleagues with high levels of engagement, retention and talent development through a strong people plan.
  • Build strong stakeholder relationships, influence with impact, and use your judgement to drive appropriate actions.

    To excel in this role, you should ideally have extensive knowledge of the motor industry and vehicle finance/leasing. A proven track record in remarketing, supplier management, and contract management is preferred.
