Senior Mental Health Nurse - Gatwick IRC

As a Senior Mental Health Nurse, your responsibilities will vary. You will

• Work as part of an integrated mental health team, responsible for assessment and ongoing management of our patients mental health needs within the Immigration Removal Centre (IRC).
• You will work collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary team as an autonomous practitioner managing a caseload of patients, assessing their physical, social and psychological needs to develop a holistic health care plan.
• You will contribute to our nursing strategy and vision to; Provide outstanding evidence based care to our patients, seeking out, listening to and acting on their feedback, so that care is personalised and informed by what matters to them.
• You will play an active part in the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of the patients care following our policies and procedures and always considering safeguarding.

Our Mental health team normally work 9 am to 5 pm with rota'd weekend cover. This position is full time 37.5 hours a week, This position is full time, Youll receive an annual salary up to £52,507 per annum - depending on experience. Golden Hello - £3,000 (£1,000 in 6 months of service, £1,000 after 12 months and £1,000 after 24 months of service - conditions apply). How will we support you?
