Senior Operative - Kitting - Nights

Senior Operative - Kitting - Night Shift - Sunday-Thursday or Tuesday-Saturday Available 18:00-02:00 at 13.68 per hour. As a Senior Operative in Kitting, your daily tasks are as followed:

• kitter to be assigned to either one or two lines.
• Check plans for lines for products required kitting and for the time planned.
• Check kitting area for products already kitted from days to ensure no missing components before taking to lines.
• Check there are traceability tags on all trays as well as allergen tags, if any are missing report to manager.
• Weigh components for each run, escalate to line coordinator if there are any shorts.
• Check products that have been concessed 1 day less are used first.
• Stock rotation is adhered to at all times.
• Liaise with low care team regarding any shorts so these can be passed through in time for a run to start.
• Fill out data log for each product and customer for each run so we have full traceability.
• Open bags of Chicken, eggs, salmon, and ensure full traceability is on each tray.
• Ensure work area is practicing good GMP at all times.
• At the end of each run all components are to be weighed back in and information placed on the data log.
  
  Applicants must have a good level of education verbal, written and numerical. Experience of the food manufacturing industry is essential, preferably salads and be flexible in their approach to shifts etc. To be able to work in a physically demanding area of the factory. At time the successful candidate may be required to move shifts/department to meet the needs of the business.
