Full Job Description

  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure good quality baseline and current plans are in place and maintained with buy in from key stakeholders
  • Interfacing and reporting of the whole programme status both internally and externally
  • Involvement in submarine design, build, test and commissioning as well as AUKUS and BCCRP (BAE Systems Capacity Capability and Resilience Programme)
  • Interfacing with Rolls-Royce, Submarine Delivery Agency (SDA), Babcock and the joint programme management office to ensure the goodness of the integrated schedules for the customer
  • Driving quality improvements into the design phase and build phase schedules
  • Coaching members of the team, monitoring their quality of work and contributing to performance management

    Experience using Primavera P6
  • Experience in Planning in major Project(s)
  • Proficient with MS Office, particularly Excel and Powerpoint

    • The SSNA Project Controls Planning Team: This is a fantastic opportunity to help shape the exciting SSN AUKUS programme in submarines. You would be joining an extremely motivated and hardworking team with great morale and these roles provide an opportunity to progress your planning career working across the breadth of the planning team who are responsible for the Design Phase, Build Phase, AUKUS, Infrastructure Project and Schedule Integration.
