Amazon's global middle mile operation is always evolving. As a Sr. Process Improvement Manager leading EU ATS Performance team in the Middle Mile Excellence and Prevention Team (Previously Customer Experience), you'll streamline and elevate our processes. You'll work with senior leaders and their teams to help us meet a number of operational goals so that we meet our customer's high bar on customer experience on quality and speed of delivery. Leading a team of up to 6 highly motivated individuals in reporting and continuous improvement projects for and with Middle Mile Operational teams, Central support teams and End to end teams.,
- This position is a people manager position, responsibilities include leading a team of passionate individuals in Europe.
- Lead extended teams on achieving the organizational goals and increase visibility into the performance metrics, processes and improvements.
- Be hands-on in driving the delivery of critical process improvement initiatives to improve customer experience while making our processes more efficient, offering data-led solutions for changes that will see long-term improvements
- Manage all aspects of project planning, requirements definition, risk management, communication, and implementation plan.
- Interact, align and collaborate with a broad set of stakeholders across Amazon's operational and technical leaders and their teams.
- Manage communication to senior stakeholders.
- Support Operations to sustainably achieve short-term goals as required, while in parallel driving longer-term programs
- Write and review strategic documents.
- Core responsibilities include regular cadence reporting mechanisms, action tracking for different time horizons and making other teams accountable. A day in the life
- Ensure the team meets the high bar on reporting and action tracking.
- Enhance smooth but challenging interaction with stakeholders, customers and operations.
- Lead the team to deliver project improvement for intra-team projects improving governance, tracking and reporting mechanisms.
- Lead the team to deliver projects through the whole delivery cycle and measuring success.
- Represent ATS Ops in conversations with End to End teams related to Output Metrics (DEA, Speed, etc), this includes regular cadence governance mechanisms, tactical adhoc meetings and structural improvement mechanisms. - Evidence of experience leading managers and senior managers during multiple years, Including performance management.
- A degree in business, supply chain, transportation, economics or a technical field
- Relevant experience in using data or anecdotal evidence to influence business decisions and strategic documentation.
- Relevant experience of communicating with a wide range of stakeholders, including senior leaders.
- Passion for reporting and tracking. Preferred Qualifications
- Black belt or Six Sigma certification.
- Managerial diploma or similar qualifications.
