We're seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead high-impact transformation projects. Your role will involve turning proposals into actionable plans and balancing structured project management with flexible and adaptive approaches to deliver impactful results. Using your experience, you'll be crucial in challenging the status quo and exploring new ways to deliver projects safely and effectively. - Drive Project Delivery: Take ownership of projects from start to finish, aligning them with business goals, staying on time and budget, and meeting high-quality standards.
- Developing Plans: Create comprehensive project plans that adapt to changing requirements while balancing scope, resources, timelines, and budgets.
- Build Strong Teams: Mobilise teams, encourage collaboration across different functions and maintain engagement and momentum throughout the project.
- Manage Risks and Issues: Identify and address risks and obstacles early, adjusting plans to keep projects on track.
- Focus on Results: Stay committed to achieving project outcomes by doing what's needed to drive success, while seeking ways to improve project delivery.

- Proven Project Leadership: Extensive experience managing complex projects, with a track record of delivering on time, within scope, and on budget, even when faced with challenges.
- Adaptive Problem-Solver: Embraces challenges and adjusts to changing priorities, making quick and practical decisions that maintain progress and deliver value.
- Skilled Communicator: Engages effectively with diverse stakeholders, actively welcoming feedback to build robust and cohesive alignment across business and IT teams.
- Results-Oriented: Focused on achieving practical and impactful outcomes efficiently, with an eye on continuous improvement.
- Technical Competence: Proficient in various project management tools and approaches, applying structured or adaptive techniques as necessary to meet the needs of both business and IT projects and governance requirements.
- Change Management Expertise: Skilled at guiding teams through change, supporting sustainable results and aligning business and IT objectives., Agile or Iterative Project Experience: Real-world application of agile or iterative methodologies and project cycles.
- Sector Knowledge: Experience in research, academic, public sector, or regulated environments, with an understanding of their unique challenges.
- Capability Improvement Experience: Experience fostering an environment where teams can experiment and learn from setbacks, with familiarity with Lean or other improvement approaches and their application to project management practices.
