Wakefield Council is looking for three dynamic Senior Social Workers to join the Adult Safeguarding team and help us provide outstanding support to individuals and families across our diverse community., As a Senior Social Worker at Wakefield Council, you'll be at the forefront of delivering high-quality social care services. You'll provide leadership and guidance to a team of social workers, working collaboratively to improve outcomes for vulnerable children, adults, and families., Leading casework for children, families, or vulnerable adults with complex needs.
Providing expert advice and support to colleagues and other professionals.
Managing a varied caseload, ensuring the highest standards of practice and care.
Promoting service improvements and supporting the development of social work practice within the team.

We are seeking individuals who can bring a wealth of knowledge and experience in social work, who are committed to safeguarding, and who have the ability to manage complex cases with confidence and compassion., Experienced Social Workers with a background in children's services, adult social care, or both.
Strong Leadership Skills: Experience of mentoring and supporting junior staff.
Passion for Social Justice: A genuine desire to improve the lives of vulnerable individuals and families.
Excellent Communication: Ability to build effective relationships with service users, colleagues, and external agencies.
