Full Job Description
We are looking for a Senior Software Test Analyst to join the Frontier team. This a fully homebased role but there will be a requirement to attend sites when needed. The successful candidate will be concerned with designing and executing test cases across various applications. You will work with 1-2 teams at any one time as required, to take knowledge transfer, understand the application, and the changes being delivered. You will also carry out testing (either manual or automated) of the changes to ensure the processes work as per requirements and user stories, raising defects where relevant and retesting once resolved., As a Senior Test Analyst your role will involve :
- Reviewing business software requirements, providing feedback
- Producing test cases (manual and automated) and the supporting data for multiple applications
- Prioritising test cases accordingly
- Executing test cases and raising defects with the correct level of detail giving clarification or reproducing where required
- Creating and analysing test results and incorporate those into a test report
- Working with other stakeholders and developers to take KT for applications
- Working within a delivery team but also able to work on own initiative
- Working within the delivery team to identify improvement opportunities
- Mentoring junior members of the Test Team
- Assisting and taking direction from the Test Manager where required
- Reporting progress to the Test Manager
ISEB / ISTQB Foundation certification requiredas aminimum - Batchelors degree in Computer science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or equivalentdesired but not essential
- 8 yearsor more experience in software testing
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Knowledge of technical testing required
- Experience of JIRA required
- Experience of Agile delivery / SCRUM required
- Knowledge of SQL is required
- Knowledge of Azure Data Lake / Azure Databricks would be an advantage
- Ability to learn new systems quickly would be an advantage
- Experience of Test automation & performance testing would be an advantage
- Experience of Zephyr desirable but not essential
- Experience working with APIs would be beneficial
- Experience ofusing the Postmantool would bebeneficial
- Experience of CI / CD delivery would be beneficial but not essential
- Experience working on multiple applications in parallel would be beneficial
