The role of Senior Traffic Engineer will be crucial in the delivery of traffic and road safety engineering solutions to a complex mix of local and strategic issues

We are looking for an experienced individual to play a significant role within the Traffic & Transportation team, providing quality traffic engineering expertise for major, minor highway schemes and developer led schemes whilst supervising team members and deputising for or representing the Group Engineer when required.

You will have an HNC or Degree in Traffic, Transport, Civil Engineering or a related discipline plus a detailed knowledge of the design standards for traffic signs and road markings and for junction improvements, also experience of supervising a small team of professionals.

You will ensure that all services and programmes are aligned to agreed standards whilst initiating and maintaining effective partnerships with service providers and other agencies
