Full Job Description
As the SEO Assistant you will be responsible for supporting the SEM team with the execution of strategic tasks predominantly across SEO, to drive business goals and monitor KPIs. This role is essential in helping to complete website optimisations to help drive traffic, and identify performance growth opportunities.
You will also;
Work with internal Copywriting and Content teams to ensure banner copy is optimised and uploaded in a timely banner
Monitor optimisation results, identifying potential issues and resolutions and highlighting performance improvements
Liaise and support technical requirements process by raising tickets, with clear requirements, and track progress of Implementation
Review Google Search Console and Crawl tool data to identify issues and escalate to correct internal or external teams
The ideal candidate will be eager to learn and develop SEO and Digital Marketing skillset as well knowledge and understanding of SEO fundamentals and practices. It is important that you have a basic knowledge of how search engine crawlers and algorithms work.
You will also have the following;
Experience with SEO tools preferred but not essential (e.g CMS, Screaming Frog, OnCrawl, Keyword Planner, Ahrefs, keyword ranking tools)
Knowledge of Google platforms such as Google Search Console and Google Analytics
Positive attitude and highly organised with an ability to prioritise workload
Team player, happy to offer ad-hoc support to other Digital Marketing channels when needed
Excellent communication, writing and analytical skills, in particular Excel
