Full Job Description
The EEAST Safeguarding Team are looking for an effective manager with demonstrable experience leading culture change for the successful implementation and embedding of Sexual Safety across the wider Trust.
The successful candidate will be a role model leader by demonstrating effective and appropriate behaviours promoting a safe environment for staff, students and patients across the Trust., · Working within the Safeguarding Team, the Regional Sexual Safety Lead is responsible for leading culture change for the successful implementation and embedding of Sexual Safety across the wider Trust.
Their focus will be keeping apprentices and learners safe and promoting a safe learning environment across the Trust, in line with the Sexual Safety Charter and programmes of work that advocate for EEAST to become a safe place to work and learn.
The post holder will champion, in collaboration with the Safeguarding Team, awareness regarding Sexual Safety, Domestic Abuse and Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG) across the Trust to students, staff and patients, and lead on education of related safeguarding and sexual safety education.
The post holder will work with Operational Managers and HR colleagues to ensure managers are trained, confident and supported to deal with concerns of this nature.
