Full Job Description
As an SIA Security Officer, you will be responsible for securing three NHS hospitals in Birmingham.
You will:
- Work as part of a team to manage security across different sites
- Utilise keen conflict management skills to de-escalate incidents
- Interact with staff and the public, ensuring adherence to security protocols
- Patrol premises, monitor car parks, and assist with emergency situations
- Conduct searches and monitor CCTV cameras
- Liaise with internal security teams and emergency services when necessary
Must be over 18 years of age
- Valid Door Supervisor SIA License
- Minimum 1 year of experience in the security industry
- Own transport and a fully clean UK driving license
- Basic IT skills and understanding of smart mobile use
- Flexibility to work varied shift patterns including days, nights, and weekends
- Experience working security in healthcare is desirable
- Knowledge of confidentiality and safeguarding is desirable
G4S is offering an exciting opportunity to work as an SIA Security Officer on our University Hospitals Birmingham contract. We provide enhanced rates of pay for unsocial hours, ensuring you are well-compensated for your hard work and dedication.
