Full Job Description
By working clinically as a member of the nursing team you will work in partnership with the Ward Manger to provide clinical, professional and managerial leadership for a ward-based team of qualified and non-qualified staff. The post holder will be required to deputize in the absence of the Ward Manager and ensure a positive patient experience through the delivery of high standards of patient care.
- Leading clinical nursing practice within the clinical area. Securing and assuring the highest standards of clinical care with the support of the Ward Manager and Head of Nursing. The effective management of clinical and non-clinical risk reporting to the Manager within the Directorate Clinical Governance Framework. We are a 24 bedded, Elective Orthopaedic Ward, who offer great development opportunities for you to flourish within this role, as well as career development. We have a strong team, with great opportunities to develop and gain excellent experience in delivering compassionate and safe care. We have created a positive learning experience for staff with our links to Canterbury Christ Church University and our Workforce and development team, to support you in your CPD.
