Full Job Description

Burberry is looking for an experienced Social Media Manager to lead our Organic Social Media team. As part of the broader Social Media & Channel Innovation team, you will drive content strategy, community engagement, and campaign execution. You will bring expert knowledge of social trends, platform algorithms, social listening, and performance reporting, while continually testing and optimising for results. Passionate about staying ahead of trends, you will inspire new ways of working and empower our team managing the day-to-day implementation of our channel strategies to meet key social KPIs.,

  • Manage and develop the organic social media team, ensuring alignment with brand and business strategies.
  • Support Social Media Director in the execution of social channel strategies, focusing on KPIs and campaign impact.
  • Collaborate with creative teams to design and implement innovative, social-first campaigns that engage our audience.
  • With the team, manage content planning, delivery, execution, and community engagement, ensuring excellence in all aspects.
  • Manage reporting and analytics, using insights to optimize campaigns and drive continuous improvement.
  • Build strong relationships with social platforms and external agencies, identifying new opportunities and managing collaborations.
  • Work with a broad range of social tools for campaign execution and performance analysis - from listening to content-planning
  • Find new and exciting ways to engage customers via social media channels to drive awareness, conversation, and affinity to Burberry
  • Champion Burberry's brand values across all social activations, working closely with cross-functional teams (social media, digital, PR, VIP, and events teams ) to deliver cohesive, impactful strategies.

    Extensive experience in growing and managing social brand channels across Western and Eastern platforms, with background in fashion and culture.
  • Strong strategic and analytical skills for interpreting data into actionable insights, paired with creative thinking for unique, shareable social content.
  • In-depth knowledge of Social First content and the Paid Social Media landscape.
  • Highly organised with the ability to handle multiple campaigns, communicate effectively, and engage with stakeholders.
  • Strong work ethic, adaptability under pressure, and attention to detail in fast-paced environments.
